Thanks Ayala Land!

I wasn't really planning on giving my iPad 2 a case since it felt so good naked, but I got this Ayala Land gift which I thought was pretty cool.

When I opened it I thought it was just a pen, card and pad holder. Made of real leather (well it smells it)

My mom said it looked like it could hold an iPad. I dismissed it but then tried it out when I got home.

Well Mom may not know her tech, but like a great Mom she knows her sizes and what do ya know, when I looked at the corners they had slots for the iPad!!!

Now I have the iPad case I've been searching for; One made out of real leather, with card holders and a pen holder with padpaper pa!!! Talk about how things just workout for free!

I guess the Dodocase will still be used when I have to hide my iPad among books but this was just an awesome gift (aside from the iPhone 4s, thanks again Mom!)

MODERN WARFARE 3!!!

Went to Rockwell to get my MW3 today. Got there 12nn but was told only the PS3 version was available. 360 would come later around 4pm.

I didn't want to go home empty handed so really thought of getting the PS3 version, anyway I have friends who always wanna play on the PS3 and I rarely use mine. Patience prevailed and went back around 3pm. I got the last copy and was one of the only adults (there was another wearing a barong also) in line to get a copy for the 360.

There was a kid behind me crying cause apparently I got the last copy (I didn't know!) well too bad. Life's like that kid! Mom wouldn't have let you play all night anyway on a weekday. Big boys can play though!

On a side note, if it weren't for Modern Warfare 3 I wouldn't have found out that class started today. I'll get the PS3 version soon to play with my PS friends.

Max RAM UPGRADE!

I did it! I upgraded my Macbook Pro Unibody to 8 gigs of RAM! This maxes it out but the gains are noticeable.

I got it from OWC, ordered it Sunday and it arrived today 3PM. Two hours before the FEDEX estimated time of 5PM. I used priority international mail and paid a total of 5 thousand Philippine Pesos including customs taxes (Yes I pay my taxes).

Before I installed the RAM, my Mac Activity Monitor looked like this:

That's my 750 gig WD hard drive I installed a few months back.

Popping up the old RAM, installed the new ones, then BAM! Started the computer and got this:

Hurrah! 8 gigs of RAM for my trusty Macbook Pro! Considering I was always borderline using up my old 4 gig upon boot-up, I'm happy that my usual browsing habits not leaves about 4 gigs left to play.

I love tech, and I love tech upgrades!!!
