Victoria in Lege 2nd Year Anniversary @ Bistro Filipino

Ateneo Law Sorority Victoria in Lege celebrated their 2nd year Anniversary with an eight course meal at Bistro Filipino.

They tied up with numerous charitable institutions to emphasize their goal of being the Ateneo Law Sorority with God at the center.

The night started with an eight course meal care of Chef Laudico of Bistro Filipino and Selecta fame.

Croquettes with chorizo and blue cheese

Tomato fish soup with tarragon

Just when you thought that was it, there came more!

The salad was really light with a vinaigrette

the main fish dish

the main beef dish with couscous!

and the dessert, choco champorado tasting

You know it’s fine dining when they insist on a sorbet to cleanse the palette.

The event was guested by numerous VIPs including K’s hubby, Vice-Governor Vince Revil of Masbate and his fellow Vice-Governor of Batangas Mark Leviste.

I also had the pleasure of making new friends at my table,

and of course, to the many Victoria in Lege Sorority Sisters, "Doms" and their friends.

The night was Victoria’s but the food made an already memorable event even more enjoyable. Victoria’s tie-up with the Pangarap Foundation and the I am S.A.M. Foundation made it meaningful, showing that the women of Victoria in Lege are not just law students, but concerned citizens with a heart for giving back to the community.

Lively and growing in number, I have been lucky to meet such fine friendly ladies during my stay in Ateneo Law.

Thanks to Ms. K Revil for the invite and Congratulations to Victoria!

Miggie Wins vs Ateneo!

I'm so proud of Miggie! She won vs Ateneo MBA Graduate School with her fellow La Salle MBA/JD team mates in the inter-grad school women's volleyball tournament!

I'm so happy and proud of my baby! :D

iPhone 4 or keep current phones and wait for iPad 2?

I was playing with the iPhone 4 my mom handed to me. Brand spanking new, its been a week, but I really haven't been getting the vibe.

Its a great app phone, probably would have great games and the battery life lasts about two days, but I can't help but think things over.

I already have my Nokia Carbon Arte 8800 and my Nokia e71 and I don't see how I'd choose the iPhone 4 over an iPad (which it may cost me).

I guess I'm just getting older and more practical, or maybe I just wouldn't sacrifice the iPhone 4 for the new Ipad 2 coming out soon.

Sometimes the most beautiful things

are just right in front of you.

These awesome shots I've been reviewing made me double guess where I was. I almost mistook the place for Europe, but no, its grand Manila with all its history.

Intramuros is an awesome part of Manila.
