Does anyone else feel this h1n1 virus has been blown out of proportion? Yeah, lucky to those who get an extended vacation, but the panic seems a bit OA.
Why should people panic over a mild strain that people always get during the flu season? Take some vitamin C! There will always be a new virus out there evolving. Darwin's theory will take care of everything. If you're not selected, well guess what, it would've been sooner if not later.
I'd hate to see how the people panicking now would react if a real terminal virus did spread. Media is to blame. I guess it was a slow news day when this outbreak came out.
7.4 billion people in the world and just a few thousand get the virus and the media makes everyone panic?
80 million Filipinos and less than a few thousand get it? According to the Department of Health, more people got the regular flu than the h1n1 MILD strain that we have. I know people are afraid of the costs of getting sick, but don't totally suspend your life because of it, because if its out there, then only evolution can save (or science).
